Waco, Texas — July 29, 2016 — Golden Acres Genetics is proud to announce Tony Andrews of Lyons, Kansas as a district sales manager for southwest Kansas. Andrews comes to Golden Acres with over 20 years of experience in the agriculture industry and has a passion for working with growers to improve their operations.
“Tony brings a great deal of expertise to our brand, specifically in the southwestern Kansas market,” stated Lou Buice, Golden Acres general manager. “His knowledge of Golden Acres Genetics’ products and understanding of the seed business will allow him to have a significant impact in the region.”
Most recently, Andrews operated a seed dealership selling a variety of seed products including Golden Acres brand sorghum. He attended Hutchinson Community College, where he studied farm and ranch management.

WACO, TEXAS (October 18, 2015) – Golden Acres Genetics is pleased to announce that Chris Sheppard has joined the Golden Acres Genetics family as product manager.
Chris is originally from Red Oak, TX. His grandparents are corn and soybean farmers from eastern Illinois and he began developing his love of agriculture through them at an early age. Chris is a 2010 graduate of Texas Tech University and holds a Ph.D. in Plant and Soil Science as well as an M.B.A. and B.S. in Agronomy, also from Texas Tech. He has a background in crop consulting and small plot product research and has worked in western Kansas and Illinois prior to joining Golden Acres Genetics. Chris enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, golf, and spending time with his wife and two children.
“Chris is very familiar with all crops grown in the Golden Acres Genetics market footprint,” said Lou Buice with Golden Acres Genetics. “He will provide the agronomic support our sales team, resellers, and customers need to ensure success both now and in the future.”
MADALYN KERMICLE JOINS

Waco, TX — Golden Acres Genetics is pleased to announce that Madalyn Kermicle has joined their sales team, effective immediately. Madalyn will focus on the south, central Texas area.
“Madalyn has deep roots in agriculture and, more importantly, seeds!” says Lou Buice of Golden Acres Genetics. “She brings a fresh but professional approach to the business and I look forward to our central Texas customers experiencing her passion for delivering value through her seed recommendations.”
Madalyn is originally from Olney, Illinois. She is passionate about agriculture, and more specifically, the seed industry because her father has been in seed-sales her whole life. Her family also has a grain farm in southern Illinois. Madalyn is a 2014 graduate of the University of Illinois and she holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Consumer Economics. Madalyn has been with AgReliant Genetics since January 2015 as a Sales Trainee. She enjoys any outdoor activities such as boating/swimming, horseback riding, and four-wheeler riding.

Rusty’s experience as an agronomist includes planting coordination, hybrid selection, nutrient recommendation, irrigation scheduling, soil and tissue sampling, and identifying /eliminating crop pests. A 2003 graduate of Fort Hays State University, Rusty holds a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy. Rusty operates a small farm in Ness and Rush counties, while also assisting his parents on the family farm. He and his wife, Brooke, have 3 children. Rusty enjoys hunting, softball, boating/camping and farming.
Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Janna Ripley of Waco, Tx, has joined Golden Acres Genetics as office administrator. Ripley will be the primary contact for resellers and growers who require assistance from the Waco staff.

Ripley holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Tx. Her experience in production management and as a customer service manager has given her the necessary tools to handle incoming calls and to establish / maintain relationships with customers and vendors. Janna and her husband have two sons and enjoy the outdoors. They are active members at Top Hand Cowboy Church in Valley Mills, Tx.
